In this class, participants aged 14-18yrs (school Year 10-13) are introduced to the principles and foundations of contemporary dance technique. They will have the opportunity to work together creatively and, with the guidance of our teachers, devise movement work of their own.

If you’d like to take part in our Creative Dance Classes, please join our waiting list. There is currently space for 14-18 year olds and you will be allocated a class once you join the waiting list.

Performance Information
Open Studios: Sat 13 Dec
Families are invited to watch the last 10mins of class at the end of Autumn Term.
Spring & Summer Shows
All participants in our Years 2&3 classes and above will perform in either the Spring or Summer Show in the Laban Theatre. Rehearsals take place in the daytime, with performances to parents/carers in the mid/late afternoon.

Access & Support Needs
Sessions are suitable for young people with moderate access and support needs such as autism, a learning disability and neurodiversity.
Please disclose information about access and support needs when you pay for classes. We may then contact you for further information, and implement reasonable adjustments as required. This might include Assistant Support, use of communication tools, reducing the potential for sensory overload etc.
Our Dance Ability classes is a dedicated space for disabled young people to dance together. For information, please see Dance Ability: Carers & Dancers (5-8yrs) and Dance Ability: Independent Dancers (8-12yrs)

Centre for Advanced Training
The Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) at Trinity Laban is for young people with exceptional talent and potential in dance. It gives you the opportunity to access high quality dance training in a supportive, nurturing environment.
