Group of over adults with various levels of mobility move in unison during Creative Dance class for over 60s at Trinity Laban.

Over 60s Creative Dance

Event details

This class combines gentle contemporary dance technique with creative dance to improve strength and flexibility, with a chance to work with others to create movement phrases.

The class will start with a warm up with seated to standing options, focusing on posture, balance and mobilisation. You can expect to learn short movement phrases, take part in creative tasks and guided improvisation, and finish with a cool down.

Our experienced teacher will provide options at different levels, so that you can go at your own pace, with breaks and seated options given throughout.

Whilst open to beginners and those with more movement experience, this class is suitable for participants who would prefer a slower pace of learning and moving, or those whose stamina may be lower and who would value a mix of seated and standing options.

Suggested Class Fees:
Reduced Class Fee £3.50 per class (£35 per term)
Full Class Fee £5.00 per class (£50 per term)
